Is it wrong to be just an ordinary (good) person? 🤔

I look around and see a world obsessed with hyper-success — everything has to shine, everything has to happen instantly, and everything has to be absolutely extraordinary.

Ordinary doesn’t sell. It’s not sexy. You’re expected to be a magician who can snap their fingers and summon unicorns, make a hundred million by thirty, and always run at 1000%.

And it’s so easy to believe that’s the truth. That being ordinary isn’t enough. But is it? Really?

A few years ago, I spent a week in London at an amazing program called Success Intelligence. They say success is intelligent and will find its way to you. But there’s one condition: you have to know what success means to you. Personally.

Not what the cultural narrative says. Not what’s being pushed on us from every side. But what comes from within. From my own soul.

What does success mean to ME?
Waking up in the morning and feeling happy to be alive.
Spending time with people I love.
Doing meaningful work.
Digging around in the garden.
Going for a walk…

Sowing at least a little bit of goodness into the world, moment by moment, however I can. And falling asleep at night knowing I lived the day well. I don’t need to build palaces. A cozy home filled with warmth means more to me.

Of course. We all need something different. Full respect.💯

Do you know what success means for you? That’s a great question. Spend a little time with it today. You might be surprised by what you discover. Feel free to share.⬇️

After a week of peeling back countless layers, I came to a simple definition back in London. We all went through a similar journey — from glitter and shine to a simple, “ordinary,” deeper truth.

I guess I’m going against the current, but that’s okay. I know I’m not alone. Because in the end, feeling good in your own life is the greatest success of all.😉

Take care.🍀
